Work included repainting the body in red, replacing the wood-lined cargo floor, wheels, and wiring harness, installing power steering, power-assisted drum brakes, and a 12-volt electrical system, and rebuilding the 230ci L-head inline-six and four-speed manual transmission. Additional equipment includes a dual-range transfer case, 17″ steel wheels, 37″ Yokohama Mud-Terrain tires, a front winch, black-painted fenders and running boards, a tilt-out windshield, and a heater .

The cab and bed were removed from the frame before being refinished in red with black fenders and running boards as part of the aforementioned refurbishment, which also involved replacing the wood-lined cargo floor. Exterior equipment includes side mirrors, a tilt-out windshield, a PTO-driven Braden winch, cowl lights, and a cabin fresh air vent

Replacement 17″ five-hole steel wheels are mounted with 37×12.5″ Yokohama Geolander Mud-Terrain tires, and the side-mounted spare wheel wears an older tire. Additional equipment includes power steering, power-assisted four-wheel drum brakes, and manually locking front hubs. The power steering, power braking components, and steel wheels were sourced from Vintage Power Wagons of Fairfield, Iowa. An additional spare wheel with a Yokohama tire is included

The black bench seat was reupholstered in black and is accompanied by a color-matching headliner, floor panels, and door cards. Interior details include a heater, floor-mounted gear and transfer case shifters, a glovebox, an ashtray, lap belts, vent windows, a manual choke, and a hand throttle. The wiring harness was replaced during the refurbishment.

The three-spoke steering wheel fronts an 80-mph speedometer flanked by supplementary gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, fuel level, and amperage. The fuel gauge does not function.

The 230ci L-head inline-six was rebuilt as part of the refurbishment and features a single downdraft carburetor, an oil-bath air cleaner, and a 12-volt electrical system. T

Power is sent to the rear or all four wheels through a four-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case. The transmission was rebuilt during the refurbishment.
